Patchwork is the junior arm of Pattingham Drama Group for children aged 8 -18.
The aim of Patchwork is to encourage young people to feel confident speaking and performing in public, to provide them with opportunities to experience theatre and be involved in amateur productions, and above all to have fun! We also look for opportunities to take the children to see productions or participate from time to time in external workshops. We meet on Thursday evenings during term time in Pattingham Village Hall 6-8pm.
We usually stage a production each year in February for friends and families. Our most recent production was "Matilda the Musical" February 2017 and our next will be "Peter Pan" to be performed next February 2018. Previous productions also include “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”, “ The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” , “Patchwork Show Off!” and “Patchwork Perform!”. There are also occasional opportunities for Patchworkers to perform with Pattingham Drama Group, for example in the recent Panto “The Sleeping Beauty” 2015 and “Shadowlands” 2014.
For your reassurance, we have a Child Protection Policy and all our leaders are DBS certificated.
